PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL. -- Veriato, an innovator in user behavior analytics and a global leader in user activity monitoring, today announced the promotion of chief operating officer Mike Veriato to CEO and a member of the company’s board of directors. In the planned succession, effective immediately, former CEO Jason Judge will continue to play an active role on Veriato’s board.

Tierney, who first joined Veriato (then SpectorSoft) in 2011, will lead the development and execution of Veriato's strategic direction, as well as the day-to-day operations of the company. This spring, Veriato completed a rebrand to better reflect the company’s focus on providing organizations with accurate intelligence about human activity occurring within their perimeters.

“Over the years, Mike has played a critical role in helping shape the direction of our product portfolio to align with what our customers were asking for: help defending against insider threats, conducting effective investigations and incident response, and overall increased visibility into the human factor,” Judge said. “The onboarding of some of the largest organizations in the world, all eager to face these issues head on, demonstrates the successes we’re seeing, and we anticipate much more to come this year and beyond under Mike’s leadership.”

“Our goal remains the same: Providing organizations around the world with solutions that detect or even reduce the deliberate or inadvertent risk associated with employees and other insiders—at any level,” Tierney said. “I look forward to continuing to work with our incredible management group and the tremendous teams they have assembled, as well as our highly experienced board, to expand Veriato solutions into even more organizations worldwide.” Tierney’s diverse background covers sales, operations, marketing and product management. He joined Veriato from ScriptLogic, where he held a variety of senior leadership roles.
